My chicken wire DIY Project

I loved the idea of a chicken wire "bulletin board" if you will...and so I made one for my bedroom. NOTE: Those of you who know me...I only put up the huge picture of myself b/c it looked really bald without it :-) I plan on putting more pictures of the hubby and I up there. To hang up the pictures I decorated clothes pins with ribbon and buttons....

BELOW: I started off with a black and gold frame and spray painted it white with primer...

Below is after I spray painted the chicken wire a coffee color so it gave it a warmer look...

Below Is the finished product hanging up in my room....

CREATIVITY....

I am feeling the creativity lately.... and I am obsessed with mason jars! Here is a little project I did today and I love it. I think I am going to use it as a center piece on my table :-)

AND now the other projects....I have also been obsessed with lace and buttons.....and I know know how to make flowers....

Hiking with the Amazing Sara

I had a wonderful mini hike with Sara...she was amazing. She offered to roll around in the grass and was not concerned about getting dirty. That's my kind of girl! I love hanging out with her and she photographs well! I know we will be friends for a long time to come :-)

Dandelions....

Dandelions are so fun...they are meant to be a weed but somehow remind me of being youthful and having fun and I welcome them in my garden.

I was in the backyard rolling around on the belly finding just the right angle to take the pictures of dandelions and it felt like I was a kid again. I loved it and I loved the outcome of the angle. ENJOY and remember your youth.

Sunset Hike and Learning

I have much to work on with my photography and I am really happy and thankful for all the support I have! Everyone has been amazing!
I  have been working at GEICO for the past 4 years and I pass by the same trails on my way to work everyday. I have especially noticed them the past few months and now am going to start visiting them on a regular basis. I feel when I am up there with the elements....the sun setting I feel that my soul has been set free :-) I have also been working on adjusting white balance...here is a few shots:

Annalisa's Prom 2011

I was asked by my beautiful cousin to come and do her make up for prom and of course I had to bring my camera (MAX) and document her very special day. Max and I hung out and worked a little while she was getting ready. Here is her beautiful self and her pictures. Thank you Annalisa and Aunt Cristina. I love you both! Shaffer Family Photoshoot Teaser

The Shaffer family is so much fun and I really enjoyed taking their pictures! We tried to schedule it once before...but it rained so I was so excited that the weather cleared up a bit! This was my first photoshoot that I got to do at Oceanside Pier...and It was fun. We walked from the pier to the long rock thing...Getty? It was so fun...like a photo field trip!!!!
